This beach is situated along the north east of the island, beside the main shopping area. There is a large cruise liner in, and out of sight at the south of the beach is the main marina for the capital city. There was another beach on the north west that you could walk to in about 10/15 minutes and it was completely different. It was the tourist beach. It had shallow reefs so not suitable for boats. Instead it was lined with cafés, restaurants, shops and bars.
